The Curriculum Garden

Using the analogy of a garden, this presentation gives strategies for curriculum design for perennials (content that can be planted once, and then re-used each term), annuals (content that needs annual planting and updating, but remains the stable within each term), and cut flowers (content that is fresh and shows off student work and understanding). By creating content within this framework it becomes easier to maintain a fresh, vibrant, and colorful curriculum for your students.
